Pre-Dance Classes
2-4yrs
Blending the best of Brain Dance, Zumbini, and Pre-Acro, this class builds coordination, confidence, and connection — all while having fun! It’s the perfect introduction to fundamental movement skills and an unforgettable bonding experience.
First Steps Classes
3-5 yrs
First Steps is the perfect first dance class for little movers ready to dance all on their own — no grown-up needed. In this fun and supportive setting, dancers build confidence and independence while learning to follow directions, take turns, and express themselves through movement.
Ballet Classes
5+yrs
Combining ballet concepts with creative ideas to introduce children to dance. Children will gain knowledge of floor patterns and an awareness of ballet terms, which, they will build on in the future. Pointing and flexing the feet, bending and stretching the knees, jumps and strong posture are a few things to look forward to.
Jazz Classes
5+yrs
CDL Jazz classes are structured around a full-bodied approach which enlivens dancers on a neuromuscular level. Young dancers will learn jazz fundamentals and develop awareness of proper alignment and flexibility through the ADAPT technique, ensuring safe, strong, and expressive movement.
Tap Classes
5+yrs
Fostering a love for Tap Dancing while ensuring that each student feels valued and encouraged in their learning journey. Through this comprehensive and nurturing approach, CDL Tap aims to cultivate a community of passionate and skilled tap dancers who can express themselves through the rhythmic art of tap dancing.
Hip Hop Classes
5+yrs
At CDL, we bring energy, creativity, and style together to introduce Hip Hop dancers to the exciting world of street-inspired movement. Classes provide an aerobic workout through choreography that focuses on level changes, floor work, and hard-hitting hip hop elements
Lyrical Classes
7+yrs
At CDL, our Lyrical classes emphasize balance, control, and smooth, flowing lines derived from jazz and ballet technique. This expressive style blends intricate, highly technical skills with natural, pedestrian movements, allowing dancers to explore musicality and emotion through movement.
Modern Classes
7+yrs
At CDL, our Modern classes introduce dancers to a powerful and expressive form of movement rooted in contemporary and modern dance techniques. Evolving from an expressionist movement, modern dance shifts focus away from classical ballet’s rigid structure and emphasizes movement initiated through the torso, breath, and connection to the floor
Acro Classes
5+yrs
This unique program focuses on skill development rather than performance, providing a solid foundation that enhances choreography across various dance genres.

CDL Competitive Dance
Our goal at CDL is that all dancers have a positive learning experience from competitions, gain performance skills and always do their own personal best.​
Competitive classes are offered in the genres of Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, Hip Hop, Breaking, Musical Theatre and Acro.​
Classes will compete in a minimum 3 local competitions or festivals per dance season and perform in our Year End Showcase - Together We Dance.

Connectivity Theatre Co. Classes
9+yrs
At CDL Theatre Co., we believe that theatre is a powerful pathway to self-discovery, expression, and connection. Through the art of storytelling, students not only develop technical performance skills but also grow into confident, courageous, and compassionate individuals.
Jump Rope Classes
4+yrs
Our program uses age-appropriate progressions to teach foundational physical literacy, encourage individual achievement, and foster the values of teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship.
We embrace both recreational and competitive pathways, guided by the national CanSkip system and sanctioned by Rope Skipping Alberta, Rope Skipping Canada, and IJRU
CDL Legacy - Pre Professional

Legacy is our Competitive & Pre-Professional level for dancers 17+. Designed for dancers beyond graduationwho are ready to push their artistry, technique, and performance skills to the highest standard. This program offers rigorous training, dynamic choreography, and the thrill of competition — all within a supportive, team-driven environment.
Specializing in Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Lyrical, Legacy dancers train with the dedication and discipline of professionals, preparing for performances and competitions that showcase their talent and passion
Adult Recreational Classes
Designed for Adults who are brand new to dance or returning after time away. Whether you’ve always wanted to dance, or you’re ready to rediscover the joy of movement, CDL adult classes offer a fun, supportive, and inspiring space to learn and grow.
