Welcome to our Connectivity Jazz Program!
At CDL, we mix classic jazz techniques with modern choreography to create a dynamic, energetic class experience. Dancers will develop strong technical foundations, musicality, and performance skills while exploring a wide range of jazz styles, from Broadway-inspired moves to contemporary flair.
CDL Jazz classes are structured around a full-bodied approach which enlivens dancers on a neuromuscular level. Young dancers will learn jazz fundamentals and develop awareness of proper alignment and flexibility through the ADAPT technique, ensuring safe, strong, and expressive movement.
Our curriculum builds confidence, expression, and athleticism in a fun and motivating environment.

JAZZ FOUNDATIONS
CDL Jazz Foundations are non-competitive classes that focus on the core elements of jazz dance. Dancers will learn floor patterns, basic jazz terminology, and essential skills like isolations, kicks, turns, and leaps.
These classes provide a structured yet fun approach, giving students the confidence to grow while enjoying every step. With progressive training, dancers lay the groundwork for more advanced levels while discovering the energy and excitement of jazz.
COMPETITIVE JAZZ
Competitive Jazz is designed for dancers ready to take their training to the stage. Building on the foundation learned in Jazz Foundations, this program emphasizes performance quality, precision, and showmanship.
Enrollment requires dancers to be actively training in a full-year Jazz Foundations class.

Our Adult Jazz/Lyrical class combine the fun and flair of jazz & lyrical technique. You’ll build strength, coordination, and flexibility, all while grooving to upbeat music in a supportive, welcoming environment.
