Jana began her dance training in the small town of Tilbury, Ontario. She continued on to achieve a BFA (hon) specialized in Dance from York University in Toronto. Jana has studied with the School of Toronto Dance Theatre, Kaeja d’Dance, Ballet Creole. She also had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Holly Small, Darcey Callison, Alex Cilic, and Peter Chin.
Jana is passionate about dance and full body integration, continuing to build on her training and knowledge. Jana is trainined in the Bill Evans Technique of Contemporary Dance (L2), which is based in Laban Theory and Bartenieff Fundamental Movement Patterns. Mentored under the guidance of dance icon Bill Evans and master instructors Don Halquist, Debra Knapp & Suzie Lundgren.
With the influence of diverse instructors, Jana has experienced many genres of dance such as ballet, modern in the styles of Graham, Limon, Cunningham, Duncan, Horton, and Evans, Tap, Luigi Jazz, Classical East Indian, Hip-Hop, Ballroom, Tribal Belly dance and National dance.

Connectivity Dance is excited to welcome Miss Morgyn to the Instructor Team for the 2022/23 season.
Miss Morgyn is beyond excited to start her first season as an instructor at CDL. She has been dancing since the age of seven and started as an assistant at CDL in 2011. Morgyn has competed in both dance and skipping and was a Company member from 2013-2018. She has been in Edmonton School of Ballet's production of T'was the Night Before Christmas and danced at the Alberta Summer Games. Morgyn is a member of the Edmonton Swarm Hype Team. She is eager to share her love of dance to young children. One of Morgyn's favourite aspects of dance is that it is such a great way to feel and let your emotions go without saying a word. Morgyn's goal is to bring out the strength and confidence in each of our dancers that come to Connectivity.

Felicity has been training in Acro dance since the age of 9 receiving awards like top solo and scholarships throughout her dance journey. Within the past eight years she has continued to expand her training into ballet, jazz, lyrical and pointe. She continues to take classes inside and outside the studio to continue expanding her dance knowledge. Felicity began her instructor path by assisting classes within CDL. She is Acrobatic Arts Module 1 Certified and has taken Aerial + Back Handspring training.

Connectivity Dance is excited to welcome Miss Nola to the Instructor Team for the 2022/23 season.
Nola Antony has been teaching and performing in many styles of dance for over 25 years. She has been trained under R.A.D. , A.D.A.P.T. , Al Gilbert and Acrobatic Arts syllabus. Nola has taught jazz, tap, ballet (pointe), lyrical, contemporary and musical theatre at both recreational and competitive levels and her students have won numerous high-score and choreography awards. She is a certified dance teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, as well as Module One certified with Acrobatic Arts and with Professional Adjudication Alliance (P.A.A.). Recently Nola certified with Acro Dance Teachers Association’s Adjudicators course as well as Provincial Level 1 Acro Gymnastics Execution Judge. She has also obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Nola was the Dance Director for the Fort McMurray Public School Board’s PEAK Athletic Academy as well as teaching the dance curriculum for the Triple Threat Academy in Fort McMurray, AB and doing workshops and dance intensives. Currently Nola has been teaching dance around the Edmonton area.
Nola’s students have enjoyed success as professionals in the dance industry, being accepted into dance universities, dancing with Disney Cruise ships, attending the Alberta Ballet School and the Joffery Ballet School and performing in music videos with artists such as Michael Buble, K-os, and These Kids Wear Crowns.
During her career Nola has worked as a choreographer of community theatre, the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Celebration and choreographer for Multicultural Celebrations in Fort McMurray. Nola has been adjudicating for dance competitions across Canada. Nola has a passion for performance, teaching and technique. She enjoys working with children and helping them to discover themselves through the expression of dance.

We are excited to have Coach Rory joining our team as an Assistant coach to our Skipping Program. Rory began her Jump Rope journey in 2014, attending her first Provincial Championship in Leduc. Since then Rory has attended multiple National Championships as well as set Provincial records. Rory is a passionate coach who shares her love and knowledge.

MIss Deirdre took her first step into the dance world at age 4 and has been unstoppable ever since!
Training all over Canada and the United States, her love for dance continues to grow and evolve.
MIss Deirdre has trained in multiple styles including ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, acro, modern, contemporary, and musical theatre. Her most recent training focus has been in more commercial styles, such as, jazz funk, heels, and hip-hop. She is currently training with Drea Lee Dance Company, and is in her third season as a dancer for the CEBL Edmonton Stingers.
In 2012, Miss Deirdre launched her journey towards dance instruction, as an assistant. During her time as an assistant, she gained many valuable tools that she was able to apply to her own classes, which she began teaching in 2017. She continues to develop her training as an educator, most recently through, the American Council on Exercise, Alixa Flexibility, Broadway Dance Center and ADAPT. Deirdre remains inspired by all of her dancers and finds joy in igniting the love for dance inside all of her students.
Believing that as dancers, and human beings, we are always students, Miss Deirdre is eager to share her knowledge of dance with others, while continuing to learn from those around her.
Marynia Fekecz is a Polish dancer/performer/choreographer/teacher/producer based in Edmonton
Read LessMarynia Fekecz is a Polish dancer/performer/choreographer/teacher/producer based in Edmonton where she was part of a residency program and Creative Incubator at Good Women Dance Company. She first came to Canada a few years ago to Calgary where she collaborated with W&M Physical Theatre dance company as part of a residency program. She danced in the WM2 project “RICING”. During this residency she also created a duet “Still a number” with Nicole Charlton Goodbrand. Also, Marynia was a choreographer for Alberta Dance Festival in Calgary during the years 2017 and 2018. In 2017 she choreographed a piece “Lake”, with Artistic Director Davida Monk. In 2018 she choreographed the piece: “Is about you, not me”, with Artistic Director Sasha Ivanochko.
Marynia studied Dance in Poznan School of Social Science. She has collaborated with artists such as David Lorenc (Ultimate Vez), Anna Krysiak, David Zambrano, Melissa Monteros and Wojciech Mochniej, Przemyslaw Blaszczak (as a teacher assistant in Kokyu Studio in Institute of Grotowski).

Mrs.H began tapping at 16 with Dance Works ofEdmonton Ltd. under Natalie Witte. Here she studied Al Gilbert Tap and completed examinations. She moved to Vancouver at 21 and started dancing at Harbour Dance and RnB Dance in North Vancouver under Miss Charmaine Nobes, learning a totally different style of tap. After a few years, Mrs.H trained with Melanie Dance of Pro Arte and took examinations in ISTD Tap. Mrs. H has continued to train and dance through all five of her pregnancies and has been at Connectivity Dance since 2012. Mrs. H is excited for this new adventure to instill the love of tap to others. Welcome to the CDL Team Mrs.H!
Kit has studied many forms of dance, including ballet, tap, street jazz, contemporary jazz, broadway, modern, cheer, breakdance and several forms of hip hop (popping, locking & animation). His bouncy style is rooted in foundational, old school hip hop moves. Kit has a passion for teaching children the art of free movement and finding one's expression. Kit has competed for many years in the Phillipines, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Canada.
