JANA HAMILTON

She continued on to achieve a BFA (hon) specialized in Dance from York University in Toronto. Jana has studied with the School of Toronto Dance Theatre, Kaeja d’Dance, Ballet Creole. She also had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Holly Small, Darcey Callison, Alex Cilic, and Peter Chin. Jana is passionate about dance and full body integration, continuing to build on her training and knowledge. Jana is trainined in the Bill Evans Technique of Contemporary Dance (L2), which is based in Laban Theory and Bartenieff Fundamental Movement Patterns. Mentored under the guidance of dance icon Bill Evans and master instructors Don Halquist, Debra Knapp & Suzie Lundgren. With the influence of diverse instructors, Jana has experienced many genres of dance such as ballet, modern in the styles of Graham, Limon, Cunningham, Duncan, Horton, and Evans, Tap, Luigi Jazz, Classical East Indian, Hip-Hop, Ballroom, Tribal Belly Dance and National dance. Jana began coaching Jump Rope in 2010 and is an IJRU Judge Clinician for Rope Skipping Alberta

MANDI CARREIRO

Administrator Miss Mandi is our master of social media and communication support for the CDL Family. She is our bright smile at the door and can answer your studio questions. Just ask Mandi for assistance with registration, dance accounts or navigating the website, she will help you find whatever you are looking for. Mandi is an avid reader with a passion for writing.

MORGYN HAMILTON

Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical, Jazz AAC1 ~ Gilbert Tap Affiliate Instructor ~ Physical Education Student at Grant MacEwan ~ Red Cross First Aid CPR C & AED Miss Morgyn has been dancing since the age of seven and started as an assistant at CDL in 2011. Morgyn has competed in dance, figure skating and jump rope. She was a CDL Company member from 2013-2018. Miss Morgyn has danced in Edmonton School of Ballet's production of T'was the Night Before Christmas and danced at the Alberta Summer Games in 2017. Morgyn is a member of the RA Stylez Studio in Edmonton with Richard Andries and Josh Capulong, and also continues to train in Hip Hop at CDL with Kit Dohyalo. Morgyn completed Cycle 10 with The House of Jazz, an artist development program directed by Christie Lee Manning. She is knowledgable in the history of jazz and how it came to be today; starting with the roots of African dance, and moving through the years into old school jazz, swing/partnering, tap, hip hop, to what we call jazz today. Her experience at HOJ taught her many new disciplines, where she can fit in the industry, and many different ways that will help teach her students to see improvement. She is eager to implement everything she has learned during her time in London UK.

NOLA ANTONY 

Jazz, Ballet BFA ~ RAD RTS ~ PAA ~ Certified Acro Dance Adjudicator ~ Red Cross First Aid CPR C & AED Nola Antony brings over 25 years of experience as a dance educator and performer. She is trained in R.A.D., A.D.A.P.T., Al Gilbert, and Acrobatic Arts syllabi and teaches jazz, tap, ballet (pointe), lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre at both recreational and competitive levels. Nola’s students have earned numerous awards and many have gone on to pursue professional dance opportunities. She is a certified teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, Module One certified with Acrobatic Arts, a member of the Professional Adjudication Alliance (P.A.A.), and a Provincial Level 1 Acro Gymnastics Execution Judge. Nola holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Education with Distinction from the University of Alberta. Nola is passionate about teaching and believes in helping each student build confidence, strong technique, and a love of dance. Her goal is to create a positive and inspiring environment where dancers of all levels can thrive.

MARYNIA FEKECZ-MANGAN

Modern, Flow Motion Marynia Fekecz is a Polish dancer/performer/choreographer/teacher/ producer based in Edmonton where she was part of a residency program and Creative Incubator at Good Women Dance Company. She first came to Canada a few years ago to Calgary where she collaborated with W&M Physical Theatre dance company as part of a residency program. She danced in the WM2 project “RICING”. During this residency she also created a duet “Still a number” with Nicole Charlton Goodbrand. Also, Marynia was a choreographer for Alberta Dance Festival in Calgary during the years 2017 and 2018. In 2017 she choreographed a piece “Lake”, with Artistic Director Davida Monk. In 2018 she choreographed the piece: “Is about you, not me”, with Artistic Director Sasha Ivanochko. Marynia studied Dance in Poznan School of Social Science. She has collaborated with artists such as David Lorenc (Ultimate Vez), Anna Krysiak, David Zambrano, Melissa Monteros and Wojciech Mochniej, Przemyslaw Blaszczak (as a teacher assistant in Kokyu Studio in Institute of Grotowski). Marynia has been a participant of workshops, festivals and dance projects in Europe and the world.

DEIRDRE BOVAIRD

Jazz ADAPT ~ Alixa Flexibility Module 1-3 ~ ACE Fitness Born and raised in Canada, Deirdre has grown up within the industry working as a dancer, instructor, and choreographer. She holds 8+ years of instructional experience, with continued credentials as an ADAPT Certified Dance Instructor and ACE Group Fitness Instructor (with specialization in Youth Fitness).  Select performance/choreographic credits include: POPSTARS (Bears with Knives Productions) BIG FISH (Leduc Drama Society) SHANGHAI DISNEY RESORT (The Walt Disney Company) TUESDAY BLEND (Drea Lee Dance Company) ALL TOGETHER NOW (Leduc Drama Society) CEBL HALFTIME SHOW WITH KARDINALL OFFISHALL (Edmonton Stingers). Deirdre cannot wait to welcome her students into the new dance season and encourage them in their growth as humans and dancers!

McKENNA CHAPPELL

Theatre, Acro, Jazz, Lyrical AAC1 McKenna is thrilled to be returning for her second season with Connectivity Dance in Leduc! Born and raised in Beaumont, McKenna has over 15 years of dance training in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre/Novelty. As both a passionate performer and choreographer, McKenna has earned numerous accolades throughout her career — including being named the second-highest scoring soloist at the PEAK Invitational Dance Competition in 2018. In high school, she served as head choreographer for Beaumont Composite’s productions of Guys & Dolls, Big Fish, and Mamma Mia! In 2019, she was awarded “Outstanding Choreography” by the AHSDFA for her work on the play Girls Like That. McKenna’s performance journey has taken her from local stages to the sea — in 2022, she performed as a dancer and character performer aboard Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Wish. She recently became certified in Acrobatic Arts Module 1 and has discovered a true love for teaching Acro. McKenna continues to train as a Hip Hop dancer at RA Stylez Studio in Edmonton and is always seeking new ways to grow as both an artist and educator. McKenna is excited to continue inspiring and supporting her students this season — she believes dance should be joyful, empowering, and full of heart!

AURORA MICHAUD

Jump Rope, Ballet, Studio Assistant Certified Rope Skipping Canada Coach, Classical Ballet Progressions of Canada Aurora's passion for dance and jump rope began at Connectivity in 2010. Aurora has explored all the genres Connectivity has to offer and has completed examinations in Gilbert Tap, ESB & RAD Ballet and ADAPT Jazz. Aurora has received multiple awards and scholarships including most recently Motives Dance and the Leduc Performing Arts and Culture Scholarship. Aurora is also a certified coach with Rope Skipping Canada and was a Bronze medalist at the 2025 RSA Provincial Championship. Aurora pursues studies at the U of A while teaching classes and continuing her dance education at the studio. We are excited to have Aurora join our CDL Faculty for the 2025/26 season.

CAMILLE HOWARD

Tap Gilbert Tap Canada Affiliate Instructor  ~ iTap Studio Certified Instructor ~ Red Cross First Aid CPR C & AED ​ Mrs.H began tapping at 16 with Dance Works of Edmonton Ltd. under Natalie Witte. Here she studied Al Gilbert Tap and completed examinations. She moved to Vancouver at 21 and started dancing at Harbour Dance under Jim Hibbard and RnB Dance in North Vancouver under Miss Charmaine Nobes, learning a totally different style of tap. After a few years, Mrs.H trained with Melanie Dance of Pro Arte and took examinations in ISTD Tap. Mrs. H has continued to train and dance through all five of her pregnancies and has been at Connectivity Dance since 2012. In 2022, Mrs. H completed teacher training in the Gilbert Tap Examination Syllabus.  Most recently, Mrs.H has completed and received her certification from iTap Studios taught by world renown, Hillary Marie. Mrs. H is excited to instil her love of tap to others.

KIT DOHAYLO

Hip Hop, Breaking, Acro AAC1 Mr. Kit has studied many forms of dance, including tap, street jazz, contemporary jazz, cheer, breakdance, and various styles of hip hop such as popping, locking, animation, krump, waacking, and house. His energetic, bouncy style is rooted in foundational old-school hip hop moves. He has competed for many years, earning championship titles in the Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kota Kinabalu, Mexico, and Canada. Kit shares his expertise in Hip Hop and Breaking internationally and has served as a guest instructor at Athletes in Action Sports Camp in Zurich, Switzerland, and at Project Dance in Hong Kong and Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Kit is passionate about teaching children the art of free movement and helping them discover their own unique expression. His classes are always fun, encouraging, and engaging. Mr. Kit has been adjudicating and instructing at various competitions such as Alberta Dance Festival, Plié Prep and is Dance Battle Judge at Breaking Battles throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas

TREY HAMILTON

Jump Rope Trey picked up his first rope with the with the Connectivity Skippers in 2011. By 2013 Trey attended his first Provincial Championship in 2013, and shortly after his first National Championship in 2014. Trey is excited to share his knowledge of jump rope with the next generation of Connectivity Skippers
