Jana began her dance training in the small town of Tilbury, Ontario. She continued on to achieve a BFA (hon) specialized in Dance from York University in Toronto. While in Toronto, Jana studied with the School of Toronto Dance Theatre, Kaeja d’Dance, and Ballet Creole. She also had the opportunity to tour with the York Dance Ensemble working with choreographers such as Holly Small, Darcey Callison, Alex Cilic, and Peter Chin.
Jana is passionate about dance and full body integration, continuing to build on her training and knowledge. She has completed training in all 11 levels of the Junior Preparatory Ballet and Progressions Ballet Syllabi. Jana has studied in New York and maintains a Level 2 in the Bill Evans Technique of Contemporary Dance, which is based in Laban Theory and Bartenieff Fundamental Movement Patterns. Mentored under the guidance of dance icon Bill Evans and master instructors Don Halquist, Debra Knapp & Suzie Lundgren.
With the influence of such diverse instructors, Jana has experienced many genres of dance such as ballet, modern in the styles of Graham, Limon, Cunningham, Duncan, Horton, and Evans, tap, jazz, classical East Indian, hip-hop, ballroom, tribal belly dance and National dance.
HALEY MYHRE

Haley has been teaching in the Edmonton and Sherwood Park areas for the past nine years. Haley has training in Ballet, Jazz and Lyrical & Hip Hop. Haley has also travelled various places for her training, participating in Disney’s Magic Parade as well as competing at World of Dance where she received a 3rd place standing. Haley is a former Edmonton Eskimos Cheerleader and was part of the first Edmonton Eskimos “Esks Force Hype Team”. Haley is a graduate of U of A and continues her passion for learning the art and various styles of Hip Hop.
SARAH BROWN

Sarah has been dancing her way through life since the age of three. She became a student teacher in her teen years and found joy in helping and teaching younger dancers. She is experienced in tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, contemporary, and hip hop and has received many awards within each of those genres throughout her life. Notably, the Harbour Dance Centre scholarship, and the Rocky Mountain Dance Project scholarship. Also, Miss Sarah has won 1st place with local professional hip hop group, NXG Company at World of Dance Edmonton in 2017. Sarah continues to strive for growth not only as a teacher but as a dancer as well.
FELICITY IRWIN

Felicity has been training in Acro dance since the age of 9 receiving awards like top solo and scholarships throughout her dance journey. Within the past eight years she has continued to expand her training into ballet, jazz, lyrical and pointe. She continues to take classes inside and outside the studio to continue expanding her dance knowledge. Felicity began her instructor path by assisting classes within CDL. She is Acrobatic Arts Module 1 Certified and has taken the Acrobatic Arts Aerial + Back Handspring workshop.
VALLEENA LITTLE

Valleena started dance training at the age of 13 after being asked if she wanted to try a jazz class that her figure skating off-ice coach’s daughter was a part of.

Her off-ice coach happened to be Jana Hamilton, the owner and director of Connectivity Dance. Since then she has trained in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical and contemporary as well as training in figure skating for 10 years, her favourite discipline being ice dancing.
Valleena hopes to work as a professional dancer as well as earn more teaching credentials to pass on the knowledge she has learned thus far and more to younger dancers. Valleena has a joy for the process of creating projects from learning choreography and pursuing ideas in the studio to executing it on stage to its fullest potential. Valleena has been apart of numerous productions big and small ranging from performing in the pre-show for the Harlem Globetrotters to taking part in a production of Coppelli AI with Out of Body Physical Theatre and is eager and excited to explore what the future holds. Valleena is currently a member of the Swarm Hype Team for their 2022 season.

Deirdre took her first step into the dance world at age 4 and has been unstoppable ever since! Training all over Canada and the United States, her love for dance continues to grow and evolve.
Deirdre has trained in multiple styles including ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, acro, modern, contemporary, and musical theatre. Her most recent training focus has been in more commercial styles, such as, jazz funk, heels, and hip-hop. She is currently training with Drea Lee Dance Company, and is heading into her third season as a dancer for the CEBL Edmonton Stingers.
In 2012, Deirdre launched her journey towards dance instruction, as an assistant. During her time as an assistant, she gained many valuable tools that she was able to apply to her own classes, which she began teaching in 2017. She continues to develop her training as an educator, most recently through, the American Council on Exercise, Alixa Flexibility, Broadway Dance Center and ADAPT. Deirdre remains inspired by all of her dancers and finds joy in igniting the love for dance inside all of her students.
Believing that as dancers, and human beings, we are always students, Deirdre is eager to share her knowledge of dance with others, while continuing to learn from those around her.

Her research is broadly focused on enhancing the sport and physical education experiences of youth. She has been involved with various sports and sports organizations (e.g., soccer, volleyball) over the past several years. However, she is most passionate about the sport of skipping. Over the past 20 years, Autumn has coached and competed in the sport. She has been a member of the Connectivity Skippers team for the past 5 years. In her spare time she likes to be outside with her dogs Marlo and Wacey.
